Hi, Jenn here!
I'm a senior at Brown University studying Computer Science with an interest in human-computer interaction, algorithmic fairness, and AI governance.
My work explores transforming high-level societal objectives (e.g., what it means for a system to be intuitive to use or equitable in its decisions) into operationalizable low-level specifications.

Some fun things I've worked on
Paragon Policy Fellowship
The Paragon fellowship is an opportunity for students to explore and gain experience working on science and tech policy issues in their state and local governments.

VoteKit
VoteKit, nicknamed “a Swiss army knife for social choice research”, is a Python package for researchers to study any stage of the ranked-choice voting election process.

End-User Robot Program
The End-User Robot Program is a project under the RLAB to study ways non-experts can interact with reinforcement learning systems through different programming paradigms in a visual interface.

Robotic Teaching Interface
The Robot Teaching Interface is a research project at NIST, to which I added reinforcement learning algorithm support so that goals can be given to the robot arm to perform pick-and-place tasks.
